How to Cook Chicken Paupiettes

Chicken, Paupiette -

Our recipe guide for cooking your chicken paupiettes at home...

Print this Page

Chicken paupiettes are a bit of a speciality to make (What is a Chicken Paupiette?), but are actually pretty easy to cook. You could pan fry them, or braise them, but really the only way I would recommend cooking chicken paupiettes is to oven bake them. It just seems unnecessary to do them any other way. Oven baking also makes it easy to get that crispy chicken skin, and lets be honest, chicken skin is just delicious.

Method

  1. Remove chicken paupiettes from packaging.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, and a sprig of your favourite herb.
  3. Oven roast at 220°C/Fan 200°C/Gas 7 in the centre of a preheated oven and cook for 40 - 45 minutes, or until the skin has gone crisp and golden.
  4. Remove from the oven and rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestion

Why not try our Chicken Paupiette with Chive Sauce recipe from our original recipe blog?

Please ensure that all products are cooked through and that the centre of the deepest part of the meat is piping hot before serving. Enjoy!
