Chicken paupiettes are a bit of a speciality to make (What is a Chicken Paupiette?), but are actually pretty easy to cook. You could pan fry them, or braise them, but really the only way I would recommend cooking chicken paupiettes is to oven bake them. It just seems unnecessary to do them any other way. Oven baking also makes it easy to get that crispy chicken skin, and lets be honest, chicken skin is just delicious.
Method
- Remove chicken paupiettes from packaging.
- Season with salt and pepper, and a sprig of your favourite herb.
- Oven roast at 220°C/Fan 200°C/Gas 7 in the centre of a preheated oven and cook for 40 - 45 minutes, or until the skin has gone crisp and golden.
- Remove from the oven and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
