Individually packed gammon steaks. Selected and cut from cured pork leg by our experienced True Bites butchers. Perfect for a quick, easy to cook mid-week meal. The big question is: do you serve your gammon with fried egg or pineapple? Choose from:

  • 8oz gammon steak, or 
  • 10oz gammon steak.

Cooking & Recipes

How to Cook Gammon Steak

Grill on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Shallow fry in a frying pan of hot oil. Cook high for 1 minute each side, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for a further 4 - 5 minutes turning occasionally Check food is piping hot throughout before serving. Rest meat for 5 minutes before serving.

What to do with Gammon Steak

Serve with fried eggs and chips for a special treat.

Storage
Store at 4°C. Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 3 days. This product is delivered fresh so is suitable for home freezing. Freeze in your desired portions on day of delivery and defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
